Actions Options Tool (AOT) is alliance-building web publishing and communication software. Think of it as a content management system for self-managing a website. The AOT has been designed specifically for the needs of organizations, non-profits. and other groups of people working together.

The AOT is similar to most content management systems in that it allows you to quickly and easily add/edit/delete various types of content on a website. However, the AOT was designed for large groups of people working together in managing the website content and simultaneously collaborating on projects. The AOT has several features built-in to keep different "branches" of an organization in contact with one another to increase efficiencies and to reduce duplication of efforts.

Furthermore, the AOT was designed to be as easy as possible to use for people with very little previous computer experience.

Lastly, several of the features have been paired down to the essentials. There are not a lot of bells and whistles. Rather, it has been developed as a tool that is rock solid, easy to use, and performs remarkably well to get the job done.

Yes. The AOT Version was officially released on May 24th, 2007 as an open source project, and is available for free download under the "GNU General Public License".
